Help readers never miss your next book
AuthorPing is a free app that notifies readers when a series or author they love has a new book coming out. Add one button to your website, and your next launch reaches them on their phones.
Free, no account, takes about a minute.
Why add it
A more active, informed reader base
Followers watch a countdown to your next release in the app and get a notification on their phone the moment there's news, right up to launch day. More readers ready to buy on day one.
Free, with nothing to set up
Following a series and getting release notifications costs nothing, and there's nothing for you to sign up to or update. We check our catalogue every day, so your past and upcoming books are added automatically.
Your marketing goes further
Your newsletter, socials and store pages stay as they are. This catches the readers who miss some of the updates you share, so you get more from your marketing with zero extra effort.
In front of new readers
Your books appear in our release calendar, our weekly and monthly release round-ups, and on the pages readers find when they search Google for upcoming books.
How it works
Find yourself
Search your author name. We build your author page from your books, every series and standalone.
Pick your button
Choose its colour, shape and words, or take a plain link instead.
Paste it anywhere
Your website, newsletter, link-in-bio page or the back of your ebooks. We show you how.
Questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Your page, your button and your link are free, and readers can follow your series for free.
What do readers get?
A countdown to every book you have coming, in the app, and a notification on their phone the moment there is news of the next book in a series they follow, right up to the day it is out. Following you and your series is free.
What if my books are missing or wrong?
Our book information comes from Hardcover, a free community book catalogue that authors can edit and add their own books to. Fix or add them there and we pick the change up within a day or so. Or email hello@authorping.com and we will help.
Can I have a button for just one series?
Yes. Your kit has one button for everything you write, and a button or link for any single series.
Do my readers need an account?
No. They download the app and follow you, and that is it. You never need an account either.
Never miss a release from the series you love
